About Africa Rating Hub
Building greater transparency, comparability and investment readiness across African private markets.
Why ARH Exists
African startups often face fragmented evaluation standards, inconsistent due diligence expectations and limited access to independent analytical assessments.
At the same time, investors frequently struggle to compare opportunities across sectors, countries and stages using a consistent framework.
Africa Rating Hub (ARH) was created to help bridge this gap by providing a structured, evidence-based analytical framework designed to improve transparency, comparability and investment readiness across African private markets.
What ARH Contributes
ARH seeks to strengthen the quality of information available within the ecosystem by:
Promoting standardized startup assessment practices.
Encouraging evidence-based decision making.
Highlighting operational strengths and structural risks.
Improving fundraising readiness.
Supporting greater confidence between founders and investors.
ARH does not replace investor due diligence. Instead, it provides an additional layer of independent analysis designed to improve transparency and decision quality.
Founder
Africa Rating Hub was founded by Gedeon Oleko, a finance professional with experience in financial analysis, business evaluation and risk assessment.
ARH was developed from the belief that African startups deserve access to more structured, transparent and context-aware evaluation standards capable of supporting stronger investment decisions and healthier ecosystem development.
Our Vision
To contribute to a more transparent, credible and investment-ready African startup ecosystem through independent analytical standards and evidence-based evaluation practices.
